TESDA-DTS NC II Short Courses

Dual Training System of Education (DTS)

SAPC Employs the Dual Training System (DTS), which combines two (2) venue for learning; the school and the company (an industry partner). The first three (3) months are spent in school full-time for the Basic Skills Training Phase. The in-school training is subsidized and is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitude of the scholars to comply with industry standards.

Upon completion of the course, the student will be subjected to a mandatory, certification assessment. After passing which, and upon acceptance by a sponsoring company, the scholars undergo five (5) months of alternate in-plant and in-school training.

Trainees will receive monthly allowance during in-plant training.

SAPC offers TESDA National Competency II (NC II) Certifications in:

  • 1 Year Seafarer Steward Rating Course (SSRC)
  • Bartending (286 Hours)
  • Bread and Pastry Production (141 Hours)
  • Commercial Cooking (436 Hours)
  • Food and Beverage Service (356 Hours)
  • Housekeeping (376 Hours)
